Local business cycles to show support for local charity

Supporting a local charity is no doubt something that's always on someone's to-do list.

But for Ebbw Vale based Business Industrial Solutions (BIS), they've shown their true colours and thrown their support behind local charity Hospice of the Valleys.

The staff at BIS, situated at Waun-y-Pound Industrial Estate, have pulled together and organised events, helped out at shops and even done mass donations to help keep the stores stocked up.

Now, they're taking on a cycling challenge with a goal to raise £10,000 for the vital cause.

A team of 8 colleagues from the business will be cycling 217 miles, from London to Brussels.

They set off on 5th June 2024, with the journey expected to last three days.

Most of the team are non cyclists which adds to the challenge.

They aim to raise £10,000 which will fund all services in the hospice for 2 days, providing a fantastic service to the people of Blaenau Gwent with life limiting conditions.

The amazing team at Business Industrial Solutions, Rassau are no strangers to pushing themselves to the limit in the name of supporting the Hospice, this time they have a team of 8 who will be cycling from London to Brussel’s a bone shattering 217 miles. This epic but gruelling journey will start in London on the 5th June finishing in Brussels on the 8th June.

They are aiming to raise £10,000 and with your help we know they can achieve this.
