This summer, Hospice of the Valleys invites the community to come together in remembrance and celebration at the annual Forever in Bloom event, taking place from Friday, July 11 to Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the picturesque Bedwellty House and Park in Tredegar.

Forever in Bloom offers a unique opportunity for individuals to honour the lives of loved ones by dedicating a daisy in their memory. These symbolic flowers will be part of a touching display, joining hundreds of others to create a vibrant tapestry of remembrance within the beautiful grounds of Bedwellty House and Park.

The daisy, chosen as the emblem for 2025, represents love, hope, and affection - qualities that resonate deeply with the sentiments of those commemorating cherished individuals. Each dedicated daisy can be personalized with an engraved plaque bearing the name of the loved one, thanks to a partnership with Timpson, who offers this service for a nominal fee of £3.00.

The culmination of the event will be a family-friendly day of celebration and remembrance on Sunday, July 13. Starting at 11am, attendees can enjoy various activities suitable for all ages. At 1pm, a poignant commemorative event featuring live music and entertainment will take place at the bandstand, providing a space for reflection and community connection. Following the ceremony, from 2:15pm onwards, participants who have purchased daisies are welcome to collect them and take them home as lasting mementos.

Participation in Forever in Bloom not only serves as a meaningful tribute but also supports the vital work of Hospice of the Valleys. The organisation is dedicated to providing specialist palliative care and support to individuals with life-limiting conditions and their families within the local community.
