Brynmawr

Sat at the top of the Ebbw Fach valley, Brynmawr was built up with the development of the iron and coal industries in the 19th century.

Brynmawr, which means "Big Hill" in English, is just that. The main high street is situated along Beaufort Street and boasts many local and independent businesses, making it a unique place to visit.

Also home to Market Hall Cinema, the only cinema in the Blaenau Gwent area.
